How marketplace ranking works
How retained customers, Popular, Trending, Newest and separate Staff picks work.
Popular counts distinct, verified customers who currently host the bot and have reached seven days of valid hosting. Free and paid hosting count equally. A stopped but funded instance can still qualify; buying extra copies does not add customers.
Trending compares first-time retained customers in the latest seven-day window with the previous seven days. It requires at least three in the current window and positive growth. Ties use current-window count, Popular, first publication date and a stable bot reference.
Creator, staff/test, banned, refunded/revoked, failed and ended activity does not qualify. Bot price, creator earnings, page views, clicks and paid advertising do not buy organic rank. Newest uses first publication time; editing a listing does not reset it.
Completed hourly rankings show their calculation time. Outdated, missing or incompatible ranking data is not treated as current activity. New arrivals and expiring Staff picks are labeled separately and do not change organic order.
