About this bot
Host giveaways without tracking entries by hand. Members enter with a button; moderators can start, cancel, or finish a draw using slash commands. SQLite stores active giveaways and participants, so entry buttons and scheduled endings survive restarts. Duplicate entries are rejected. This is a hosted adaptation of alxndlk’s Discord Giveaway Bot, with the original MIT license included. It does not purchase, deliver, or fund prizes; the server owner supplies and awards them. Setup and support
Invite your application with bot and applications.commands scopes. Supply BOT_TOKEN, start the bot, and run /giveaway start as a moderator in the giveaway channel. Choose a title, duration such as 30m, and winner count. Test with a small giveaway before announcing a prize. Free hosting follows the platform’s weekly renewal and one-active-Free-slot policy.
